Quality Engineer

We are in need of hands-on motivated Quality Engineer with 2-3 years experience in a production environment with semiconductor or gas chemistry industry.
DUTIES/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- A practical knowledge of piping systems, heat transfer, sealing technology, chemical engineering and software/hardware process controls
- Design Control Process and Product qualification and validation during R&D and RTM cycles
- Design Control – supports Design Control New Product Team requirements consistent with Product Requirement Document
- Non-conforming Materials / MRB participation experience required. Leadership of MRB is a plus
- Good understanding & experience in advanced problem solving including statistical techniques
- Minimum 2- years experience in application and leading problem-solving, root cause analysis and related Corrective and Preventive Actions (including verification)(CAPA)
- CAPA (Define / Implement / Verify CAPA plans) leadership
- Sound understanding of quality concepts, regulatory compliance requirements and tools including ISO 9001-2000 and the Semi-2, CE ,EN regulations
- Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams. SolidWorks experience a plus
- Proficient in technical mathematics and statistical process control
- Must be computer proficient (Microsoft Office Suite required). Ms-Project, Mini-Tab and Visio (flowcharting) experience a plus
- Supply Chain Management or participation as a Supply Chain Engineer experience a plus
- Proven ability to lead (influence) in a cross-departmental technical environment
- Work with all departments to provide guidance and participation in production support, qualification, quality management of all systems in production
- Ensure regulatory compliance in production processes with all regulatory requirements
- Responsible for production and quality documentation review and control in the Doc. Control system
- Develop, maintain and monitor quality metrics. Communicate status and progress
- Lead CAPA teams through root cause investigations to implementation and final verification
EDUCATION:
- BS, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Process Engineering or related technical discipline
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer a plus
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Six Sigma / Lean Sigma a strong plus
