Applications for Ultra High Purity Steam in Power Generation, Steam and Oil Recovery
Steam provides the driving force for turbines that generate electric power. Volatile silica can be released from de-ionized water and redeposit on the turbine blades shortening their life and reducing efficiency. Extensive chemical treatments are required to keep the water clean enough for power plant usage. RASIRC steam purification can reduce overall costs, improve efficiency, and increase turbine up-time.
